I think you're justified in feeling that the "vacation" is over. I admire you for handling it so well. I know I would have been crying for home way before now! Nobody really understands everything you are going through, but please know that you can call me anytime you want. I don't even care if you need to talk in the middle of the night. Sleep is overrated anyway:) We love and miss you lots and hope you can go home and hug your grandkids and kiss your house soon.
Euvah, no apologies necessary. I don't just understand, I emphasize. Some days are just so damn hard. Hang on and know there must be some good reason you are on this "leg" of the journey. Love and hugs. Sarah
I totally understand how you feel. This article clearly reflects how you're feeling now. I think you may want to mingle around with people from your home country and that will make you feel much better.
You're in our thoughts & prayers!!! Everybody is allowed "blue" days!!! It just makes us human!!! By the way, Lovely pictures (esp. the craft room)!!! I hope the time passes quickly for you!! Thanks for sharing your experiences with us!
and of course, you have no need to apologise for your feelings.
I guess we all have ups and downs, some have more ups than others and some have more downers.
I am somewhere in between... maybe more up's... tee hee ...
I enjoy being here, I try to embrace everything around me, especially the understanding that we are the foreigners (guests) and not to expect everything to be like 'home'. We have learnt a lot since moving here over 2 years ago and our thoughts on many issues have changed dramatically.
We have gone past that "I have to move home soon' part, but certainly do miss family events.
But we are all here together - in the same boat so to speak - and all of us have understanding for what each of us go thru.
