They made it through Ike but of course, they are without electricity. I was so relieved to hear from Jeff that all is well. YAY! We will hear more I am sure when we are able to get in touch with them, but for now they are communicating through text messages with her parents.
Now they get to enjoy the lack of luxuries; no air conditioning, no refrigerator, no fans, no electric, no... well, just the comforts of home. They will also realize the sheer amount of devastation surrounding them and that life will not be the same for many months to come.
Still praying for you guys.
