Weaning the Calves

On June 30, Steve moved the calves to the weaning pen. We are on day 5 and they have finally stopped bawling for the most part.

This was the ‘music’ for 3 days…

I think we have decided to sell a bunch of the cattle - they tie us down too much and right now we have too many anyway. Still a thought process, but we will decide soon. 

I am starting a quick motorcycle quilt for the camper garage. We have two queen beds in the garage that lift to the top when not in use. I thought since it is a garage for the bike, that a bike quilt would be terrific. It will be a simple block quilt, nothing fancy.
