A Visit to China Town

Raelee decided we were going to China Town yesterday.  She had a goal and since granny told her it was a fun place to go to, she had it set in her mind it was the first thing on the list.  Well, the pink dolphins were really the first thing on the list, but she has to wait until the weekend to do that, so she compromised...

She went shopping:

She shopped for friends:

She bargained (very difficult for a blue-eyed blonde - NOT!)
and she paid for it with her own money... "WALE, I only have five doll-ers, and it says ten..."

She shopped for herself...

And had mommy help her choose:

Looked at everything she COULD buy:

But conceded to looking around for a few days before she actually bought everything in sight...

She tried a limeade:

But it was too sour  :-(

Granny and mommy really thought she was just too tired.

She appeared to be just done.  Done for the day.

But, we persevered - we went to eat.  She found her heaven - fried rice:

She drank real jasmine tea:

And she learned:

That she needed more of that fried rice  :-)

We looked at a few of the sights:

And she crashed.  She was done.

She went back to granny's and slept for 4 hours.

Then she had to walk the indoor stadium to eat outside, then to the grocery store, and she had to help drag the trolleys of food all the way home.

She is learning all about Singapore.

And then she slept.

Until 3:30 am.

And she got up.  Rip roaring and ready to go.

Again.  But granny, mommy and papa were sleeping.

And so she learned about Singapore TV selections.

None.

And that is day one.

Except "it is a process" ... to be continued in another blog

The  beginning of a very beautiful experience.

LOL How many days does it take to get a sleeping schedule flipped around? Once they are back in LA it should be mighty fun LOL
