This morning I got up anxiously wondering where the girls were. I raced in to check the flight. Even though I have been on this flight over and over, I am now seeing it from the other side :-)
They are on their way! Right now they are over Alaska; wishing it was ok to open the window covers but knowing by now they will get glares. They are tired, stiff and already wondering what they have gotten themselves in to - and they are not even half way here. They have had a first taste of Asian food flight style. The real taste comes on Japan Airlines. The stewardess' are all American, but soon that too will change.
They have experienced hearing the flight information in English, then Japanese, Korean and finally in Mandarin - and are very frustrated with the announcements. Just when you think it is over, the next language announcement is being made. Do you dare turn your show back on to watch yet? Nope, next language... lol...
Steph is a bit nervous about landing in Tokyo, but excited to be over Alaska. She is not yet nervous about Tokyo, but alternating trying to watch movies and sleep the trip off. Tokyo nervousness will come in a few hours - when they start passing out customs/immigration forms. Raelee, is just sick of it all. She is ready to see granny and papa, but does not realize she has over 17 hours to fly.
Go back to sleep mommy and Raelee, you have a long way to go. We can't wait to see you, but we will have to. Not for long though, you will be here soon! :-)
