Temples

The temples in Malacca were beautiful.  The colors, as in most temples in Asia, are vibrant and colorful.

The designs intricate and breathtaking:

 

The eaves are eyecatching:

And the courtyards are open and relaxing:

the windows in the walls leading out are colorful:

 

 

The strong scent of incense drifts around inside and they are always busy with bustling people giving offerings and prayers, others tidying up and those sitting nearby making offerings:

 

We had a wonderful time walking about and enjoying them.  They are all beautiful, relaxing and we are always welcomed into them without hesitation.  I am always amazed at the beauty that hold and the attention to detail that goes in them.

We couldn't read the names of the temples, so we had no idea which ones we went into.  However, we enjoyed every minute of our wanderings.
