Exciting Day for Punkin!

After one year of faithfully rebuilding this Honda 550 four, Raelee and papa brought it down off of the stand!

And off on a run they went!  Works and sounds perfect!

Tomorrow they take it for a long ride; papa on the Harley and Raelee on her Honda.
Update coming soon.

Yesterday was my infusion. I had an infusion headache yesterday and today, and this afternoon I realized I just generally feel crappy.  We (Primary Immunocompromised) call it infusion flu.  It is not truly a contagious flu, we just feel like a truck ran us over after our infusion.  Today, that is me.  Tomorrow will hopefully be a good day.  Usually it takes a couple days to get past the infusion.  Honestly, I get about 2+ good weeks out of an infusion.  The week before, I am dragging butt, the week after I have the migraine and infusion flu.  Those two weeks I cherish though.

Here is my smile today.  MissBehavin’ has taken over Chelsea’s spot in the sewing room - only this girl gets in lots of trouble!

Night all… resting ‘til I feel better.

Philbrook Art Museum Answers Questions

There is a room at the Philbrook with blank post it notes.  You can write questions about the museum and volunteers answer them.  Isn't this a wonderful idea?

I could have just stood and read them all.  What a great project!  LOVE it.

Philbrook Art Museum Musings

 Here is a smile:

Cheyenne, Jeremy, Ari and I were at Philbrook Art Museum in Tulsa last weekend.  We saw some great art:

And of course I saw some art of my own:

When we separated to leave, I realized I had forgotten to take a picture of the beautiful gardens.  It was much to hot to go out into them, but they are beautiful and I wanted a picture from the balcony.

But.

Those stupid people would not move so I could quickly a picture of the gardens!  Why the heck did the people keep taking pictures of those jerks?!?

Finally, I get my picture, between their dozens, but they didn't move over enough so I could center.  This will have to do...

Then the evening news comes on

These are THOSE people!!

Oh!  They were who?!?  No, those guys would have been dressed much nicer, and surely the ladies wouldn't have had their boobs hanging out!

But,  They.  Were.

Ugh.

And they had been in our paths all through the day.  In their house shoes even.  At least they looked like house shoes.

What do you think?  House shoes or very ugly sandals?

A day late and a dollar short.  Yes, we browsed with them for hours - but we were honestly clueless.

*sigh*

Justa swimmin'

Shop Hop by Us!

Sharon and I went on a shop hop.  We designed it and went - it wasn't a preplanned shop hop made by the shop owners, it was our very own wish  list.  We had a blast!

First Quilt Store...

Second Quilt Store:

This was a cool, very simple pillow that a friend sent me a picture of, but I couldn't find the fabric to make it.  I really want to make it - just need to find the fabrics.

Third Quilt Store:

Fourth Quilt Store:

Fifth Quilt Store:

Sixth Quilt Store:

Seventh Quilt Store:

We did it!  We had a great time.  If only Sharon had realized she was looking for lightly patterned navy fabric instead of navy fabric without a design.  We figured that out at the last store.  *sigh*

Oh well, we had a blast anyway.  And no tree fabric.

Another Finished Quilt Top

Finished this quilt top today; from beginning to end.  Well, I had cut it out, but that took all of 10 minutes a couple of days ago.  The colors are much prettier in person.
My lighting sucks in the living room.

It is a small - maybe twin size.  Very easy pattern.  Trying to name it.  Guess that will be tomorrow.  I absolutely love the colors though.

Oh, The Quilts We Saw!

These are just a few of the quilts we saw on our quilt run:

The picture below this quilt is the quilt above.  All of the little pieces of fabric are sewn together to make that beautiful little girl.  I cannot imagine how much time that took - but the talent!  Goodness, can you imagine duplicating that image with fabric??

I must love this quilt and it must have been a project sold by a quilt store.  I have take a picture of it in 3 different places at 3 different times.  I do love it, but what are the chances of finding it 3 times?

This is just an adorable baby quilt.  I bought what I needed to remake it.  I have no idea why, no more babies on the horizon - other than Jennifer's - my niece.  I have already made her baby's quilt.

This design... I just want to find the pattern.  I love it!

These colors!  Love, love them!

Bought enough of Sanctuary to make a quilt.  I kept passing this pattern up and finally just gave it and bought it.  Another quilt top coming soon..

Another quilt made from a picture.  No the young lady is NOT upside down!  She was hanging from a swing  - she her hair falling?  I love these quilt pictures, but I can't imagine making them.

This is a pretty cool crayon picture, don't you think?  I just liked it - would not make it though.
The picture is enough for me.  Lol...

4 Months to the Day...

The previous post is about my Uncle Danny.  This post is about his wife's brother, Barry, and Barry's wife Trish.  They refused the Covid shots, caught COVID and could not fight it. The note below is from their daughter on Barry's Facebook page:

"It's with great sadness and joy at the same time that mom and dad are in the arms of Jesus.  They died together holding hands with us children around.  Mom at 12:09pm and Dad at 12:10pm.  We had just said a prayer of Thanksgiving over the both of them thanking the Lord for their life and allowing us to have the time that we had with them and when I said AMEN dad had passed and mom passed a minute before him."

My Aunt Carol has lost her precious husband, our Uncle Danny, and 4 months to the day after his death, she lost her brother and sister in law.  She and her family need as many prayers as possible, please.  My heart hurts for her.
