Don't ask me what happened... near as I can figure out, Steve and I started walking to East Coast Park but we ended up at Marina Bay Sands. Opposite directions, I know, but it happened. Maybe Marina Bay Sands has a magnet.
Of course I didn't have the right camera lens, it was cloudy and hazy and I was ill prepared, but I made the best of it. It would be a fun place to shoot if I had what I needed. Hey, I can always go back, right?
It all started with going to take pictures of the armored vehicles that will be in the National Day Parade. Man, did I get a TON of pics of those. How do they all fit on this tiny island?! There were dozens and dozens - maybe even hundreds! Am I allowed to post them? Dunno...
After we saw the National Service vehicles, we headed to town and found the helix bridge:
Which leads up to Marina Bay Sands:
A very TALL building:
With some unusual curves:
We found the money pit - and it wasn't the casino:
It even took phones:
Lots of people tried it out:
Both from above and below:
Wonder who had the most luck?
We walked from our condo to Stadium Link on the MRT. We took it to Nicholl Highway then walked all the way to the Casino. It actually looks and sounds a lot longer than it was. I have no guess as to how far it really is - but it was a nice walk.
Yep, really must go back - and no we don't spend a dime gambling. He works too hard for that money to just throw it away - and we don't believe for a minute we're gonna get lucky.
We think we already are lucky and - well blessed. We are not rich; we are not going to get there, but it is fun watching other people trying.

Bet those big fancy casinos think so too.
