Don't Do This In Disneyland!

What happens when you forget your backpack full of snacks and junk when you are out and about in Disneyland?  You know, like when you sit down to eat at a table, drop the backpack and let it rest on the floor or ground?  Then when you get up, you gather kids, shopping bags, food, and you toss your trash out... but you seem to have forgotten something...  you look back and don't see a thing... So off you go!

Pssst, you shoulda looked under the table because you left your backpack hanging out there on the floor...  :-(

But guess what?!  Someone did notice it...  It was the bus boy, who called in the waiter, who called the staff head, who called the park supervisor, who called in security, who called the head of the security, who called the police...

... who brought in the bomb sniffing dog!

And all he said is, "I wish I could have the snacks I smelled in that backpack!"

"Dumb ol' kids.  Made me work for nothin' - just another false alarm."

While we were sitting at the table, all of this happened.  They kindly waited for a bit on someone to come back to retrieve the bag, but no one did... so they did all the above as they cleared the tables around the bag.  All the while, they had another backpack scoped out that someone did return for.  A comment we overheard from security?  "One down, one to go - if it would only be so easy..."  Needless to say, no one came for this one, so these are the procedures they had to go through. 

Sad it has come to this isn't it? 

Lesson learned; don't forget your bags in Disney - or bring treats for 'poor little' Bowser...
