Sunday - a day of rest

Our last Sunday at home is all done :-( but we made it a happy day :-)

With M leaving tomorrow, we only had one more day to cram all the fun stuff in - so...


We decorated M's 5th birthday cake - I think it HAD to be at least the 5th... lol...




and ate more crawfish:



pR learned to peel hers all by herself!


We ate more watermelon:




and added more decorations to M's cake:




It was sunny, but we did out best to stay out of the rain:




and got lots of sand in our curls:




and everyone hugged their sweet grand kids:




We taught babies to sing Happy Birthday:




and had our own private Mardi Gras parade:




We couldn't tell our kids from... well... IS it a kid?




It took all of granny's cake loot, but we finally got enough decorations on M's cake!




M did the taste test:



It passed with flying colors - all of the colors of the rainbow!

M fed birthday cake to her baby (I think she is sick of birthday cake - NOT!):



(She eats more sweets than any kid granny has ever known! She LOVES her sweets :-)


And hopefully the weight watchers coach is not reading the blog ;-)



... as the cake was mmmm mmmm good!


And granny and papa got their last hugs in with M:




And mommy got lots of giggles in with M:



Tomorrow, M fly, fly, flies to her new mommy and daddy in Florida. We're sure gonna miss M.
