The kitty is GORGEOUS - isn't any kitty? He countered... we are waiting, again. Lol... The house has been on the market 104 days, no drops in price and been empty since fall of last year. He has to have playing room, right? And, I have to have a place for you and your girls to stay when you fly through going to Arkansas...
They always counter offer. Always. They are trying to get as much money for the house...just as you are trying to get as much house as possible for your $. The house just seems so right for you guys. I hope it really is your forever home soon. 104 days is NOTHING on the market these days. We looked at homes in NC that had been on the market for more than a year. when we sold our place in NC years back, it was on the market for 6 months before we finally got an offer....and the offer/counter offer boiled down to the curtains if you can believe that! I had wanted to keep my curtains because my great grandmother had given me $ for curtains as a gift when I got married, so I wanted to keep them. The gal that wanted the house, she wanted the curtains even though our realtor had written in the description that the window dressings did not convey. Irony is, I got to keep my curtains, but was not allowed to put them up in the house that we are renting, as our landlady would not allow us to take her curtains down. How messed up is that?!?!!? I can't wait until we move into our new home. Sounds like you and I will both be doing alot of unpacking at the end of this summer! Setting up house is the BEST!
