The Sail

A few months back, I went to a meeting at The Sail.  The Sail is difficult to get a picture of, but I sure tried:

If you live here in Singapore, you probably recognize it by the shape - a sail... go figure!  It is right in the midst of downtown... do you call it that here?

Here is the edge so you can see better:

I don't think that worked either.... but the pictures I got from the 44th floor are great!  The edge of The Sail has a light on it - so it stands out from the rest of the buildings.  Can you imagine opening your window way up there?  Yikes!

We could see the Marina Bay Sands Casino and Hotel:

The Esplanade:

More of the Casino and Flyer:

And whatever that petal looking thing is... and our condo!  Whoot!  See it?

And if you need to know where our containers (of food) are, one glance will show you where you can find them:

No wonder we run out of American yummies  ;-)

Looking at the view makes you want to kick back at this place and rest:

Anyway, all of that to tell you we are going to a dinner and party at the Sail tonight!  I am super excited and looking forward to it - and to seeing the view at night.  Maybe... just maybe... I will get some pictures.

We shall see.  Off to get ready...
