Brewerkz Bridge

I know, I know, it is not really the 'Brewerkz Bridge', but that is what we call it.  When we need a quiet supper out with little effort (you know like calling and waiting for a taxi and all?), we go to Brewerkz.  We have to cross the bridge right before Brewerkz - so I named it the Brewerkz Bridge.  Looking out from our patio, this is what we see - remember?

If you look to the far right and just a tad above the golden bridge that touches the right side of the picture, that is where Brewerkz would be.
Actually, not really, but it is close... lol...

We often walk from the condo to Brewerkz for a relaxing evening.

To the right of that bridge is the indoor stadium:

If you look in this picture, that golden bridge is in the picture just below the Indoor Stadium.

The walk to Brewerkz is beautiful - it is along the river for about a mile to the bridge.

We get to look at the Indoor Stadium changing colors during the stroll:

And finally, we get to the 'Brewerkz Bridge' by the Indoor Stadium:

These last few pictures are taken from the Brewerkz side of the bridge.
Brewerkz is right behind where I am standing for these pictures.

Brewerkz is a neat place to go.  It is outdoor seating at the base of the Indoor Stadium - confused?  Naw, just sitting outside, at the restaurant, at the foot of the stadium.  No biggie.

This last week after our plane trip back, we walked over to Brewerkz instead of cooking.  I know, totally lazy, but we were beat and decided we needed the walk anyway - we had been in transit for 3 days, right?  We had sat on planes for 27 hours.... yeah, walking was good.
When we sat down, the waitress came up and said, "Long time you no come!" with a sad face.

Is it wrong that it feels good to be missed at one of your favorite nightspots?

We explained our trip to the states and had a friendly chat.  We ordered our usual and she remembered to bring the avocados and tomatoes on the side.  Because we like it that way.

Some things are just pleasant, ya know?
This is one of them  :-)

I have been laying low trying to recover from the trip.  I am not experiencing any depression to speak of -  Yippeee! YAY!   I miss family and friends, but that is understandable.  Steve let me know his job is gearing up (the one he is here for) and will be extra busy for the next few months.  And even more so because things aren't going as planned... while we were gone, things did not get done as efficiently as he hoped they would and he is playing tidy up.  It must be frustrating for him when he can't depend on others to follow a list of directions.  Is it that way everywhere?

I wonder about another friend, who's hubby is here for the same job.
After the installation is done... then what?
That is the million dollar question
I am sure for us all...

We can't really plan anything because of the job, the house being on the market and not knowing what is ahead, so we will just sit tight, let him work and enjoy our evenings here.

We will take a few more strolls on the river to relax...

And maybe we will see it will glow again:
