Getting Experience in the MRT

Today was a rainy day.  We decided to go shop at Funan - just to walk around and waste time.  Oh it helped that we went to meet Samuel, but we just wanted to get out.

While were are Funan, Raelee found a couple of friends:

That block on the floor kept doing fun stuff -in this picture it was a maze.  In other scenes it had fireworks that exploded when you stepped on them, fish that scattered and cars that went around their feet.  They had a blast playing:

It rained.  And rained.  And rained some more.  So, we decided we would take the subway (MRT) and learn how it worked.  Thanks to Pam I have been using it and I decided to share it with the girls.  Of course, kids love 'trains'.  Funan, being in the CBD, was a great area to start our MRT trek.

Once we got there, Steph stood back and watched (and took pictures) but I think she got the idea:

Raelee was so excited to go underground and to ride the train, but she was also very tired.

Once on the MRT, she was fine, enjoying playing on the post... don't I remember this from another post?

When we got to Vivo City, we found the cart belt and used it for a people belt:

The girls found the durian:

And then we found the taxi que:

Raelee has hailing a taxi down to an art, but this time, she was pretty darned upset that they did not race to her rescue.  Instead, they picked up everyone else in front of us in que.  She was ready to hire her own taxi driver - the ones across the street that promise to come for a nod - and a few bucks more?  Granny told her she had to wait until her turn in line.  With a sad, tired, pouty face she did.

And finally, after supper of granny's fried chicken, learning to fold birds of paradise with orgami paper, and visiting with her new friend Kimberly, she finally settles in for a good game of computer stuffs:

And promptly fell asleep:

And that is the end of day two.  Our mission of keeping her awake until bedtime worked.  She only had a quick snooze of 30 minutes - and she had been awake since 3:30am!!
8:30pm was as far as we could push her today.
Of course she wakes me up again tonight, tomorrow will be another story.  Then she won't even get that 30 minute battery recharge ,

Now what in the world can we find to do tomorrow?
I think I will go dream about ideas...
Night all.
