Behind the Merlion you see the Singapore state bird: the crane - actually many cranes. They seem to be everywhere here - and not only a few in each construction area - DOZENS.
Speaking of birds, we will be flying a big steel bird out in the morning... as we will be leaving for the states for the holiday. We will be in transit for 2 days. I will get back to posting when we get there :-)
